Thomas and I are very excited about this endeavor; Round Table Financial (RTF) is the culmination of some pretty amazing circumstances and experiences which landed Thomas and me together for this incredible opportunity. We have each grown up in Little Rock, Arkansas in slightly different generations, but have known each other and of our families as long as I can remember. We have each experienced both successes and hardships but have emerged stronger for both. In coming to an agreement for this venture, I was struck at how we were each negotiating FOR the other in certain areas to ensure mutual benefit, and I believe…. Success. We each bring different experiences to the Table: Thomas has a long career in the investments industry, while I was more in the commercial banking side of finance. After 17 years in the financial industry, he had a hiatus a few years back into the beverage and bottling industry, but has been back in investments for over 15 years now; and I have been pursuing several different entrepreneurial endeavors over the past 30 years – starting and running restaurants, developing small real estate projects, and helping to start and oversee several other projects and small businesses along the way. In addition, in my 30-year commercial banking career, I worked closely with our customers to assist/consult in various types of small businesses, from mortgage companies, to trucking, agriculture, retail, insurance and many others. We are now looking forward to putting all this experience to work for Round Table Financial and you! So, come have a seat at our Table and let us assist you with your future! FROM THOMAS:

I have always believed to be successful you should partner with the brightest and smartest people you can. When I considered creating my own firm the first person who came to mind was Alex Golden. A Georgetown graduate with an MBA in Finance from Arkansas, Alex’s tremendous financial background and experience meshed with well with my investment and trading experiences. We’ve known each other and families for decades and began discussion of starting a venture over 4 years ago. Fits and starts, the events and aftereffects of Covid 19 and a belief we could build a firm to be proud of led us to form Round Table Financial. If I could summarize our common thought towards our new adventure I will quote Teddy Roosevelt from his speech The Man In The Arena:

Citizenship In A Republic: It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat…………

With this spirit in mind, we venture to work with our clients to help them succeed in life, to enjoy the fruits of their labors and bear the difficulties of life with friends who can be a resource of security and peace of mind.
